Vote for change?

So, we have a cobbled together government. It might be a good thing, at least it will keep everyone on their toes.

Both parties slogans included, "Vote for change." But some things won't change:

The advancement of homosexuality won't change.

The persecution of Christians won't change.

Moral and spiritual degradation of our nation won't change, unless you call acceleration change!

Binge drinking won't change, even if they do re label the bottles. They should add the new info twice as most of those who try to read it will want to be bee seeing double anyway! Adding, these cigarettes will kill you, hasn't stopped people smoking them, so adding, drinking this stuff will make you drunk, should really work...As if they needed the confirmation!

We'll still be ruled and ripped off by Europe. That won't change.

Listening to Prime Minister's question time sounding like a load of squabbling louts won't change.

The lies that are man made global warming will still be used to wrench even more money out of our pockets, that won't change.

The banks that got us into this mess will still make huge obscene profits with our money, with no one being called to book for it, but, rather, getting even more obscene bonuses as a reward for it...That won't change.

So, what about change? Well, Gordon Brown has gone. That has to be good.

We have a new Prime Minister. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and see what he does. The Bible says, "By their fruit you shall know them." We all know what Blaire and Brown's fruit has been. Let's see what Cameron is made of.

Seventy years ago, give or take, there was a coalition government. It didn't last long, too much squabbling. It was called, the Lib Lab (Lab Lib?) pact. What we have now is Conservative stroke Liberal Democrat pact. Somehow, Con Lib sounds crap, so how about...ConDem pact. Yeah, that says it much better.

Suicide bombers, knife attacks, murders, rapes, abductions…

Why is it that only bad news is news? What makes the editors think that we actually want, or need to see when some poor old soul has been beaten up by a yobo? What value is there for anyone in seeing a face all black blue and purple? Does it do any good? Of course not, it just scares every other old soul in the country even more than they already are! It serves no useful purpose so why do they insist on doing it?

Just what do they learn in university that tells them that pushing this stuff down everyone's throat is desirable? Why can't we have some good news for a change? What's wrong with us seeing something joyful? Or hearing that Elsie's cancer is in remission? Or better yet, that 20 souls gave their lives to Christ in Dudley and passed from death to life?

The answer is simple…Satan is the 'prince of the power of the air', and he wants to make sure that everyone knows what he's up to. Hence, all the crap the news programs vomit out of the TV and radio sets. You will never hear of the good news of Jesus Christ changing people's lives for the better cos that would be counter productive to his plans. And make no mistake, Satan has big plans for the world, plans for destruction, death and misery. It's all around us every day, but that is no reason to help him out by spreading the junk around.

The world would be a better and less fearful place if all the news editors would do us a big favour and quit. Yes guys and gals, go find something useful to do…Please!

Converted?

In church life we have lots of jargon. I remember back in my Bible college days, the guy at the front making us witness to our neighbour without using any jargon. It wasn't easy!

Any way, we have this word converted, and we use it to describe someone who has become a Christian…But is it a good word for such a purpose? Does it accurately describe what has happened? Well, no it doesn't.

You see, the problem is this. Scripture says. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION," not a converted version of the old one. "The old has gone, the new has come." Conversion implies that we have been 'cleaned up', or slightly altered to be made fit for a new purpose. This is not the case at all. The first thing God did when we got saved was to kill us! How else can you be born again if you are already alive…More jargon isn't it!!! See, it's difficult!

The truth is, to be born again, you must surrender your life to Christ. It is an act of submission, total submission. Your will to His will. Your control to His control. You literally surrender your life into His hands so He can do whatever He likes with it. Tough decision to make, but one well worth the effort, because He will do much more with your life than you ever would, or could. He's amazing, and being in His control is a real adventure. I thoroughly recommend it.

So, don't get converted, get killed and born again a new creation. You'll be so glad you did!

Questions...

How much worse off would this country be if more people where active, practising Christians?

Would the crime rate go up or down?

Ladies, would it be less safe to walk the streets at night?

Would our children be in more danger than they are at present?

Would Christian politicians steal tax payers money by fiddling their expenses?

Would there be those appalling scenes of drunkenness in the small hours that we see on TV?

Would the general level of politeness and honesty be lower than it is today?

Would shoplifting increase?

Would vandalism, violence, yob culture and knife crime suddenly get worse?

Would domestic violence increase or decrease?

Would our kids have to face bigger and 'badder' bullies at school, or on their phones?

If you answer these questions with common sense, then you have to ask; Why is the government of this country hell bent on suppressing Christianity? It is the ONE thing that can change this nation for the better.

The Intolerant Tolerant

Just reading of yet another Christian losing their job for not wanting to participate in the abomination of homosexuality. These cases are on the increase, and will become common place before too long as the law 'bites' into our religious freedom.

Fellow Christians, we must realise that persecution has started. These are indeed 'the last days' spoken of by John. From here, it just gets worse. Within this decade it will become impossible to be openly Christian in Britain. Any stand taken against the relentless march of homosexuality will result in a conviction, without appeal, as in the case I read today.

I wonder what will happen when a Moslem takes a stand against homosexuality? It will be very interesting to see how the powers that be respond to such a case. And make no mistake about it, Islam hates homosexuals. In 'their' countries, they shoot them! Does the media dare call Islam homophobic? I think not!

In contrast to that, Christians are the most tolerant people on the planet. Christians do NOT hate homosexuals. We pray for them as we pray for all sinners. We pray for Pedophiles too, without hatred in our hearts…And they call us bigots!

Society has sunk to a new low when it calls the tolerant, intolerant, and those who live a perverse, unnatural life style are deified because of their perversion of the natural use of the human body. We now have a super class of untouchables, and once they realise the power they have, they'll use it. Then the fun will really begin!

There is one thing that the law makers need to know though, and that is, Christianity thrives in adversity. For two thousand years the 'world' has been trying to stamp the fire of Christianity out, but they have failed, and they will fail this time too. The more we are oppressed, the more we have to use out faith, and when Christians start to move in faith…Look out world!

Vote with PRAYER

I don't watch television so am not being bombarded by it in regard to the upcoming election. I really feel sorry for those of you who are.

All the parties are out and about doing their utmost to win your vote, saying all the things they think you need to hear, and trying, laughably, to look 'cool'! Please don't be taken in by the hype, use your own judgement and even better, your own conscience. Don't let them tell you how to vote.

There will be very few out there who are not aware of the economic crisis. All Christians know that the world is dominated by a demon called Mammon, the god of money. He is very powerful on planet earth and basically controls everything. The world revolves around money -- markets, stocks & shares, investments etc. When the money goes wrong, everything is affected.

This is the rub…Politicians will major on the economy and use it to hide loads of little things that they don't want you to know or talk about. Don't let them get away with it…Pray before you vote, and don't just say, "God have Your way." That's a lousy prayer. No, get involved and command the demons that are behind all this to be silent, and get out of our nation.

Some have said, "We don't get the government we ask for, we get the government we deserve." I'm inclined to agree. Several other minority groups have shouted loud enough and long enough to force the government to change the law of the land in their favour. But we Christians have, in the main, stood idly by and let it all happen, moaning about it after.

Christianity is not passive, we have weapons that are mighty for tearing down strongholds and every pretence that sets itself up against God. Let's start to use them.

VOTE WITH PRAYER.

Will the real homophobes please stand up!

It's a natural part of the human psyche to want to hit back. We've all done it, and homosexuals are no exception. They have managed to successfully attack 'hetros' with a cat call and make it stick. If you dare to say anything against a homosexual, you are branded a homophobe, and it's become a dirty word, a slur with a stigma attached. Well done guys, er, sorry…gays, you've won the day, you are the top dogs. You've achieved super status. You are now more 'equal' than the rest of us. I guess there'll be no more need for gay rights marches, and the gay lobby can be disbanded, you've now got more rights than everyone else. Other than making you into an armed militia to police the rest of us nasty straight people to make sure we don't break the new laws that protect you, you've got the lot.

It's a complete turn around. Fifty years ago what you did was breaking the law, now, what we do is breaking the law. The difference is: what you do is vile, un natural sexual practice, and all we do is tell you that. Is that fare? Of course not, but life in this country is not about fair, it's about the loudest voices winning the day, and that brings me to this…

The reason you have won this monumental victory is because of the people who govern us. They are Godless, gutless, cowards, who are so afraid of the gay lobby that they have prostituted their morals and any sense of decency they may have had to win votes. Votes at any cost can rightly be said of them all. And here friends is the real meaning of homophobia, a phobia being a fear of something. They are so frightened of the homosexual backlash that would happen if they took a moral stand against this perversion that they have sold their souls in order to placate them. Yes, Godless and gutless Brown, Clegg and Cameron, you are the real homophobes, and one of you is going to be the next leader of this country. God help us!
